你们好! 我希望你们的生活过得很顺利😊

Hello Everyone!!

I want to change things up a little bit in my emails home. I want to bring all of you on the mission with me. I want to write in a way that helps you see what I experience in the culture. The miracles that I see everyday. And the testimony that I am able to build while I am out here.

So to start off. I want to start off with a cultural thing for this week and its the food.

This is my favorite dish of all time. And I eat it at least once a week. I actually started to get this while I was in my first area of Sitiawan. It is called 'clay pot'. It is essentially the evolved version of Chicken rice. And it BLOWS panda express out of the water. It has super well season and prepared rice, and then just the best chicken or pork you have ever tasted. And its made right in a pot that's made out of clay, so it comes out really fresh.

Then as far as the week went it was incredible. Elder Taylor and I were both able to make it back to P safe and sound. Then as we got back to Penang, my companion had a Mission Leader Conference where we found out that the leaders will be testing the water of using Facebook in our mission to see the effectiveness of it. So that really encouraged and through my companion and I into creative mode as we started to use technology in all sorts of ways like video calls, group chats, events and pages and so on. Its been super exciting to slowly use the marketing skills I have developed over the years.

Then this week we had a really awesome opportunity to attend a devotional with Elder Evans, the president of the Asia area presidency, as well as Elder Wu who is also in the Asia area 70 and here just in a couple months will be the new mission president of Singapore. It was so special and so cool to work and listen to them. As well as listen to our mission president all talk about how a mission can and will change your life. I testify of that wholeheartedly. If you are thinking about a mission, I encourage you to pray for it. Its not that its fun. Or that its easy. But it will Change. Your. Life. If there is one thing I learned as a missionary its that as we work hard. God will helps us evolve into new people.

I want to share my testimony that I know the church is true. Sometimes its hard to be a member and follow the standards. But as we do our life becomes so much better. I invite all of you to find out for yourself. Pick something and seek out God. I promise you'll get an answer.

I love you all so much.
