Subject: Go Go Why?
你好!!
For anyone who has been reading and wondering what that means, it is NiHao or pronounced as Knee How and it means hello.
But howdy everyone!! I hope that everyone is had a really good week. I heard that the time changed which makes things fun and interesting.
But right off the get go I want to share a miracle that we had this week! Well actually it was on last Sunday! So for us missionaries we fast on fast Sunday obviously, and with walking and biking we tend to get really hungry. So it was about 5-6 at night and were riding our bikes to this next place and as we did, we had to stop at a stoplight. Normally when we stop at a light it is us two on our bikes surrounded by people on their motos, like scooters, and we talk to them. Well in this case we pulled up to a man named Chris, and my companion who was starving, leaned over and jokingly asked for one of Chris fries. Chris was way nice and said yes, but my companion assured that he was just joking. Then my companion as he retells the story said that the spirit told him to ask for the fries again. So he did. To make a long story short we were at the light for about 30 seconds. Chris gave us some fries, and we told him why we here. The night went on, and as we got home we got a text from Chris. He wanted to meet and learn more about why we were here. To make a long story short, we met with Chris almost everyday last week and taught him almost everything. He agreed and is excited to be baptized at the end of the month. That story was just so cool and special for me, because it showed that there are people all around us, all needed love and this message.
Then this week I also found that I have started to become a really pondering person. And that I love it. I saw the importance of just slowing down just enough to actually think, and how important it really is. As I was pondering this week I realized that sometimes as people we get so caught up in the Go-Go-Go that were not really sure why we are going anymore. So it was cool as I was able to sit back, and to really pray and dive into the scriptures about why I'm here.
I am sorry it is so short this week. We had a really good week with a lot of cool things happen. It just went really fast and was a blur😁 I love you all so much!! I want to testify again that this church is so true. And as we remember why we are going the the adventure is so much better.
