[Comment from dad / Ranes: I know Braydon has mentioned he is now assigned to Singapore, but I am not sure he mentioned his newest assignment is an assistant to the Mission President. He and his companion live near the main Missionary Office in Singapore. Their duties allow them to travel to all of the locations within the Mission area. This is why Braydon has been traveling a lot over the past few weeks.]

Hello Everyone!
You may be thinking that when I use the word 'spread' that I am talking about the new corona virus. But what I actually mean is all the fun I was able to have traveling to different areas in the mission and being able to be with some of the missionaries.
I want to assure everyone that I am completely safe. There is not much to be worried about. For those of you who don't know, we have been asked to stay inside as a precaution. I am well and safe and so are all the missionaries here. Thank you for all your love and prayers. Thanks especially to my lovely parents who have sent an "emergency food kit."
Let me tell you a little bit about what I have been able to do!
I am able to go to different areas and work with some missionaries in a ministering and training purpose. This last week I was able to go to a place called KK [Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia]. It is in Sabah of East Malaysia on a island called Borneo. As I was there, I was able to spend time with Elder Peterson, he is such an awesome missionary. He took me to one of the most famous beaches in the world which is in Sabah. We went and talked to people there and we were able to invite them to learn about the gospel.
It was a special experience. My favorite part of missionary work has always been just getting to know people. Hearing their stories and knowing what kind of person they are and what kind of person they want to be. We are all brothers and sisters, do we put others before we put our pride? God told us to love our neighbors. How are we at doing so?
Lastly, we had an amazing baptism this last week. It was seriously so special. These two women were just barely starting to learn right as I got into the area and it was so special when my companion and I were able to share with them. They have the strongest testimonies and strongest desire to be good people. The gospel undoubtedly helps them do that.
As I have been been inside these last couple days, I have been able to do a lot of studying. As I have, I just want to testify that God really is out there, and Jesus Christ is seriously the best example there ever could be. Through Him we can have so much joy!
I love you all so much
Elder Carter
