18 Nov 2019 - Miracle Lesson!

Note from Ranes, Braydon's dad:
This email is sent out to about 150 accounts.  I add these accounts to the BCC field to protect privacy and to avoid the header of 150 accounts on your screen.

Braydon did send an email last week, 11 Nov 2019, and I attempted to send three different times.  I assume Google / Gmail doesn't like the fact that the email had 150 accounts in the BBC field because every email sent was rejected. I got about 150 rejection emails with the first two attempts.  For the third attempt, I only used 50 accounts and still got rejections.

Ironic that Braydon's email this week discusses rejections.

I will attempt to send this week's email and last week's email today.

Subject: Miracle Lesson!

Hello friends and family!

This week was a good one. I have to admit though, there was a lot of rejection this week. So much actually, and we even had one family that we were so excited about who called us one night and told us to never come back. 😂

But that's not the point of this week's email. Hard things happen no matter what you do. And in life it's "Not about how hard you can hit, but it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." That quote is giving me motivation as I write this letter. I just ate a Korean buffet, and that stuff hits the nap button pretty hard, but I will write this email. 😁

So, through all the rejection, we had an amazing lesson that happened just last night at the very last hours of the week. The lesson was with a member family whose father was not a member. The father has promised his son for many years now he will try to go to church and try it out. He still hasn't come. So last night we shared just a simple message about eternal families, and what it means for him to be able to have an eternal family. As we discussed he, by himself, had mentioned he knew he needed to come to church and he would give it a try. I thought that was pretty cool! The spirit was so strong in the lesson. It just reminded me how much I love my family, and the gospel has helped me see the importance of family, and how we will be together forever❤

Besides that we were able to knock on some doors, and had some funny things happen. I wont say what, but I will attach this photo:

I love you all so much❤

Love,
Elder Carter
