Hello Everyone!!

I am so sorry it has been a while since I have sent out an email! 

Lets jump into what has happened these last couple weeks. First, I just want to thank all of you so much for the birthday wishes. That was seriously so kind of all of you!! It is so crazy to be 20 years old. One year older and wiser too? I guess so :)

Over the last couple of weeks, there has been so many amazing things that have happened.

First, just a couple of days my companion got home from zone conference in KL. It was so amazing. We were able to give a training and I was able to use one of the fun tricks I used in Student Counsel, before my mission, when we did 'Know Greater Heroes'. The missionaries and the Mission President loved it. It was funny watching the mission president and his wife struggle to get out of handcuffs. I loved at the end of the training he said "This is a good lesson for marriage, don't try to change your wife, and in missionary work don't try and change your companion." I see more and more why that is so important. Here are some pictures from KL.

Although my absolute favorite part of Zone Conference was we talked a lot about prayer. Our mission president has noticed that we as missionaries will start to be more of an impact when we teach prayer well. This kind of took me back. It made me realise how much prayer actually has changed my life. When I was little I still remember when ever my mom or dad would get upset at me I would run to my room and slam my door, kind of like a brat. But then I would just start talking to someone. Now when I look back I realised in a strange way I was praying. And I knew at that time, just like I know now that God is listening. He does hear our prayers. I think is really is so easy to forget who He is and why He is so important. He literally is our father in Heaven! We are His Children. I don't know about all of you but that is the coolest thing in the world to me! 

In fact we were able to share that message with our good friend Vinod. 

We invited him to just pray and talk to God and as he did he said he felt an overwhelming answer that God does hear his prayers. I want to invite you all to do the same. Talk to God and share with Him what is going on in your life.
