Subject: To IPoh and India?

So I just recently moved to Ipoh [Google Map], but I had no idea that when I moved here I would see a little bit of India!!

Let me show you!!

Even though I live in IPoh, Malaysia, it is so full of different cultures. I don't know if many of you remember, but when I served in Sitiawan, it was a lot of the same thing. There are so many cultures here. There are Indians, Chinese, Malay, and other travelers or other nationalities that have moved here.

Besides being able to see so many different people, we were also able to meet with a lot of really awesome people and take a part of amazing experiences.

I want to share one with you. We recently met with a man who used to go to church a lot when he was younger but not so much anymore. My companion had mentioned to him that he should come meet with us and help him have the blessings with church again. So we met with him. And as we did it was so powerful! He was talking about how he thought he should go back to his first church. As he did we helped him understand the importance of the restoration of the gospel. It was such a powerful and strong lesson and he was amazed at the fact that we have a loving Heavenly Father that wants to help him and his family. As we shared with him, he opened up about many struggles he is going through in his life. We testified that God wants to bless him and help him, and he can access that help through prayer. We invited him to try a prayer and what happened after that was amazing. He started to pray and ask for peace and joy in his life, then he started to burst out crying. He felt the spirit so strong and felt as if for the first time in his life that someone was actually listening to him. I know and testify that feeling is from God. God loves us so much, He wants to communicate with us, He does that today. Its incredible.

Oh and I got the greatest news on Thursday that an amazing young man in Kuching [Google Map] that I had been able to teach got baptized! I am so happy for Jordan and I know he will make an amazing member and missionary one day!!

Besides that it was another amazing week of crazy adventures and mystery around every corner.

I love you all so much!

Here are some pictures for the week:
