Mission Call arrives

Thursday, 8 March 2018, was an exciting day for our family.

Braydon was pretty sure his Mission Call would arrive on Thursday, 8 March 2018.  Anticipating the letter, we created a Facebook Event and started spreading the word.

Braydon came home for lunch with the hopes the letter would be in the mailbox.  As time was running out, he decided to leave a note on the mailbox asking the delivery person to contact him if the papers came.

About 5 to 10 minutes after Braydon left the house to return to school, the mailman rang the doorbell.  Thanks to our doorbell cam, I was able to get an image...

Our doorbell cam sends an alert to our phones when the button is pressed, so I knew the mailman had attempted to deliver the envelope and I rushed home.

I knew Braydon would be overly excited, so I sent those images to him.  Later, he said he shouted in class and his whole class knew that he had gotten his papers.

Time to prepare for the reading...
